Q: If I get a premium membership, will my friends with free accounts be able to join my private games?
A: Yes. Only the creator of the private game needs to have a premium membership.
Q: What payment types do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. For the 3, 6, and 12 month subscription options we also accept PayPal.
Q: Do you accept payments from anywhere in the world?
A: Yes. Our prices are listed in US dollars, but your credit card company will automatically convert your currency.
Q: Can I mail you a check or money order?
A: Sorry, but we do not accept check or money order payments at this time. If you do not have a credit card, you can open a PayPal account to enable payments from your bank account.
Q: I just subscribed using PayPal. How long before my subscription gets activated?
A: PayPal payments are usually processed within about a minute of your purchase. However, due to the way PayPal operates, there is on rare occasion a longer delay. If your upgrade hasn't been processed within an hour, send us a message and we'll check your account status.
Q: What are the advantages to becoming a premium member?
A: Premium members enjoy unlimited turn-based and real-time games, private games, experienced player games, the option to publish custom maps, and many more benefits. They can also feel great about supporting a site they love. For a full comparison, take a look at the premium page.
Q: Why do you have to charge a subscription fee for unlimited games?
A: We would love to make the site completely free, but our costs to run the site are extremely high. Our premium members support the cost of the servers, technical support, prize tournaments, and the ongoing programming that is necessary to improve the player experience. Without their contributions, this site could not exist.
